Hi, I’m Kkyu — a Korean living abroad, cooking the food I grew up with using whatever I can find at my local grocery store.
Kkyurecipe started because I kept getting asked the same question: “Where do I even find gochujang here?” So instead of gatekeeping Korean cooking behind hard-to-find ingredients, I started building recipes that work with what’s actually available — no matter where you live.
Every recipe here is tested, adapted, and written so you can make real Korean food without a special trip to a Korean grocery store (though if you have one nearby, even better).
